The Academy is Now NAADAC Approved

December 27, 2013

We’re excited to announce that The Academy for Addiction Professionals is now a NAADAC approved education provider. We are also supporting the organization as a NAADAC Organizational Member. Becoming an approved education provider for NAADAC was a key goal for The Academy this year as it offers us the opportunity to bring our exceptional training courses to more students throughout the United States. It is also more convenient for students who wish to use their education credits in another state or who are taking classes through one of our distance learning programs. Students can rest assured that any NAADAC approved programs they take from our facility are acceptable for credentialing by the National Certification Commission for Addiction Professionals and many other state certification bodies.

NAADAC and its affiliates, spread across 44 states, represent more than 75,000 addiction-related individuals and companies in the Unites States, Canada and overseas. As an approved education provider we hope to be able to promote NAADAC’s vision of a healthier society through drug prevention, quality treatment and aftercare.

We look forward to expanding our course catalog and making it even easier for aspiring professionals and clinician’s alike to receive the education they need to pursue and enhance their career in addictions. Please contact us if you have any questions about our NAADAC approved education provider status and how that may affect your studies here at The Academy.

* Please note that we continue to provide our core course, the Certified Addiction Professional. While the certification is administered by the Florida Certification Board, it is reciprocal in dozens of states and territories through the IC & RC.
