Clinical Evaluation

this course will review different instruments within addiction that will assist the professional in making sound clinical decisions regarding treatment and pathology.  Students will discuss how to profile an addict by using historical and family information.  Students will be introduced to the biopsychocial and integrated diagnostic summary and how these tools assist with knowledge and diagnosis of client. Students will learn about personality disorders and how it impacts the addict and families.

This course will answer the following questions:

  • How do I determine a personality disorder?
  • How do I profile a different people with different disorders?
  • What tools can I use to assit in determining mental illness and addiction?

Duration: 35 hours, 10 classes
