Online Course Refund Policy
Once you sign up for our classes, you may retake them at no additional charge until you pass. As a result, unless there are extenuating circumstances, we do not offer refunds.
Extenuating circumstances may include:
- The unavailability of the course during the time you wish to take it, which is as a direct result of a problem under the control of the Academy for Addiction Professionals.
- A mistake or error in the coursework that does not allow for the completion of the course.
- A hardship that precludes you from taking the course.
If you have double paid:
Please send us an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at (954) 771-2934 to notify us that you may have paid for a course twice. In this circumstance, we MAY be able to refund the entire purchase price of the duplicate course. It is very important that we be contacted during business hours the same day you authorize the duplicate charge, so that we can void the transaction before it is finalized with the merchant account processor. Please have the following information ready for us:
– student name
– course offering name
– date you registered for the class
It is possible that the transaction will have been finalized before we can void it. In this case you will be refunded the purchase price minus a 20% transaction fee, or $12 (twelve), whichever is greater.
