Home – Addiction Counselor Training: The Academy for Addition Professionals trains students to become addiction counselors including CAP, CAS, CAC and CBHT. We also offer online courses for distance learning and for existing addiction counselors to receive continuing education credits.
About Us – Our Addiction Counseling Staff: We have a staff of dedicated and highly skilled counselors who not only teach our students the skills needed to excel in the industry but offer real life scenarios to prepare students for their career path. All of our teachers currently work in the treatment industry and can offer new practical and real-life experiences to our students each day.
Courses – 2011-2012 Course Schedule for Addiction Certifications: Learn more about the certification course for the 2011-2012 school year. Major certification courses run 14 months.
Pre-Registration – Register For a Class: Students can register for live and online classes ranging from Certified Addiction Professional certification classes to online continuing education classes.

Online Classes: We now offer online classes for students who may need distance learning options. Classes are added on a regular basis and will range from 2-40 CEUs.
Reciprocity: Florida Certification Board approved education may be reciprocated in many other states, territories and countries. Learn more about taking your addiction certification to another state or country.
