This course will cover the importance of record keeping and how to write and communicate clinically with peers and other professionals. Students will learn how to write notes and identify pathology more consistently. The class will review the seriousness of documenting from a legal and ethical point of view.
This course will answer the following questions:
- How to write a clinical note
- What to include in a therapy note
- Data, assessment, plan?
- Importance of documentation
- If you don’t document it never happened.
