Hello and thank you for your interest in The Academy for Addiction Professionals! The Academy is an approved education provider in Florida (FCB). We have the courses necessary for you to take the CAC, which may be called ADC outside Florida. Details of our courses can be found here:

The training is broken up into 11 different sections as mandated by the Florida Certification Board (FCB) – if you are outside of Florida, please check with your local board
- CAC001: Clinical Evaluation – 25 Hours
- CAC002: Treatment Planning – 15 Hours
- CAC 003: Case Management and Referral – 10 Hours
- CAC004: Counseling – 30 hours
- CAC005: Client, Family and Community Education – 10 hours
- CAC006: Documentation – 10 Hours
- CAC007: Ethical and Professional Responsibilities – 30 Hours
- CAC008: Understanding Addiction – 35 Hours
- CAC009: Treatment Knowledge – 35 Hours
- CAC010: Application to Practice – 35 Hours
- CAC011: Professional Readiness – 35 Hours
Important – For Out of State Students
Our courses may qualify toward ADC certification requirements in the following states: AL, AK, AZ, CO, CT, HI, ID, IA, MD, MI, MS, NC, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, TN, VT, WV. However, we suggest contacting your board to confirm.
